The eye mechanism works well (pull the string back to eye level to make the mechanism easier). The doll feels heavy and of good quality, Iβm so happy sheβs with me now. As for the barrettes, the hands are easy to removeβjust twist them as if you're putting them on the doll. This is exactly what I asked for.
