“Josephine” is a one-of-a-kind TBL/factory Blythe art doll looking for a good home. Josephine is a fairy among us. Her other-worldly presence is enjoyable to be around and fun to photograph.
She was fully customized including a carved nose, chin, lips, and philtrum. She has a neck joint for extra possibility. Her face was done with professional artist quality materials, sealed with many layers of Mr. Super Clear UV matte spray and her lips were glossed with varnish. Her eyelashes were replaced with human-quality soft white lashes. Her gaze was corrected and she was given sleepy eyes with two pull strings handcrafted by me. She has four new eye chips that reflect the light gorgeously, as you can see in her portraits including a special pair. Her backplate is signed, numbered, and decorated. Her blonde hair has been washed, conditioned, cut, and styled. She will arrive at her new home in the outfit you see in her portraits: a white turtleneck long sleeve top with a long pink floral skirt with a thick elastic waist inspired by a waist-cinching corset, and purple tennis shoes. She will come in pretty packaging with surprise gifts from me.
As with all one-of-a-kind dolls, she is far from perfect, but her flaws only contribute to her charm and artistic quality. Please pay close attention to the photos and zoom in for details. Her clothing is also not factory perfect but was created with love. This doll is for adult collectors only, not children, and should be handled with care.
When pulling the strings to change the eyes, be sure to hold the head with one hand while pulling one string to avoid forcing the neck to the point of breaking. Be sure to pull back, not down, to avoid wearing out the strings.
